Latvia

As of Jan 1st, 2026, Latvia will implement mandatory electronic invoicing for B2B. This requirement extends to all business registered in Latvia.

Estonia

Estonia has been progressively advancing its e-Invoicing rollout, as of July 1st 2025 business can insist on receiving e-Invoices from suppliers in UBL format, though the old Estonian format is also in use.

By Jan 1st 2027 it is expected all invoices that subject to VAT must be e-Invoices.

As of July 1st 2025 B2G customers will begin to mandate e-Invoicing

Lithuania

In Lithuania e-Invoicing for B2G has been in use for a number of years with the move to the SABIS platform in 2024 further building on the original eSaskaita

On Jan 1st 2025 much of the B2G invoice market was mandated to be sent via SABIS but currently B2B is optional however we are now seeing many organisation’s already preparing for mandatory e-Invoicing.

We believe in 2026 e-Invoicing for B2B will become mandatory aligning with the broader movements in the EU and the Baltic states in general.
